The GSA Telework Research Raw Data website contains data and other information collected as part of studies conducted by researchers who have provided us with information attesting to the legitimacy of the work. However, while GSA has attempted a limited screening of the work contained on this site, we cannot guarantee the validity or reliability of the data, nor ensure proper usage, analysis, and interpretation of these data by users of this website. Thus, use of the data, reports, or other information provided on this website indicates that the user understands and abides by these guidelines:

  • Users will evaluate the data according to their own needs and standards. The usefulness, validity, and/or reliability of the data or other information are determined solely by the user.
  • Users will follow any and all ethical principles to which they are bound by their profession, license, employment contract, or other association.
  • Users will not knowingly misrepresent or misuse the data or other information on this website. Users will take utmost care to properly use, analyze, and interpret the data.
  • Users will credit the original source of the data (provided in the Telework Dataset Information form found in the table associated with each dataset on the Raw Data Library page) in any publication, presentation, or other reference made to or based upon information/data obtained from this website.
  • Users will complete and submit the User Information Form on the Registration page to enable GSA personnel to track research based on data obtained from this website.
  • Users are willing to be contacted by GSA personnel to follow-up on research intentions, data/information submitted for posting to the site, or feedback provided to the site.
  • Users will notify GSA through the relevant form on the Share Your Findings page of any papers, reports, presentations, or other works developed in part or wholly from data or other information obtained from this website.

By abiding by these guidelines, users will help ensure that the data and other information provided on this website are used properly. In this way, the work produced from the data on this site is more likely to advance both telework practice and research in a positive and fruitful direction.
