The Graduate Record Examinations® (GRE®) General Test measures verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning, and critical thinking and analytical writing skills. The GRE® Subject Tests gauge undergraduate achievement in 8 specific fields of study.

Predicting Long-Term Success in Graduate School: A Collaborative Validity Study

GRE verbal and quantitative scores and undergraduate grade point average were evaluated as predictors of multiple measures of long-term graduate school success.

A Feasibility Study of On-the-Fly Item Generation in Adaptive Testing
