FPI Public Notices

On April 3, 2008, Federal Prison Industries, Inc (FPI) posted a notice in the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps). In this notice, FPI proposed to manufacture solar panels competitively without using its mandatory source. Solar panels fall within Federal Supply Classification (FSC) code 6117 - Solar Electric Power Systems.

FPI received no comments from any interested party regarding this proposed production, within the 30 days allowed as stated in the April 3, 2008, FedBizOpps notice.
