Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) Motor
Carrier Information Technology Division's purpose is to provide software, maintenance,
and technical support to FMCSA, their field offices, and state partners. These systems
include: Accounts, Investigative Systems, Roadside Inspection Systems, MCMIS/SAFETYNET,
SAFER, and related applications.
The FMCSA Information Technology Development Division consists
of the IT Business Requirements Team; the Existing System IT Development Team; the
IT Security Team; and the COMPASS Business Process Improvement and IT Modernization
Program.
