On Wednesday, April 8, 2009, Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar will host a meeting at Tulane University’s McAlister Auditorium to gather information and public comment to help build a comprehensive energy strategy for the U.S. Outer Continental Shelf. The meeting is the second of four regional meetings the Secretary will hold this month. The morning session will be carried live by webcast, accessible online at http://www.doi.gov/ocs. More information on the meeting also is available at that site. The meeting, which includes lunch and dinner breaks, is scheduled to end at 8 p.m.
