What is the Portal

The IHPES Portal is a "one-stop-shopping" entry point to all web based applications supported by the IHPES. The portal makes possible accessing applications for accreditation, nursing, behavioral health, data qualtiy, PCC Export tracking, web forms, Suicide Surveillance from a single web site. The portal concept is similar to shopping at a "super Wal-Mart". Once in the store, the customer can obtain all products and services under a single roof. As the user logs onto the portal, only the authorized application(s) will appear on the screen. If the user has access to multiple applications, they can "toggle" between those applications simply by selecting from the list of available applications.
