Training Grant in Teratology Students in this program are enrolled in the Molecular and Developmental Biology Graduate program and take course work in developmental biology, embryology, molecular genetics, biochemistry, cell biology, and teratology, and in some cases also in neuroscience and biostatistics. Research involves studies of congenital malformations and neurobehavioral abnormalities with the approach taken of viewing birth defects as molecular perturbations of developmental pathways. All of the research laboratories in the program use molecular techniques and many also use cellular and systems methodologies. E-mail contact: charles.vorhees@chmcc.org |
