Executive Order 13175, November 6, 2000

  • Executive Order 13175 establishes regular and meaningful consultation and collaboration with tribal officials in the development of Federal policies that have tribal implications, to strengthen the United States government-to-government relationships with Indian tribes, and to reduce the imposition of unfunded mandates upon Indian tribes.

  • The final rule on the Indian Reservation Roads Program became effective October 1, 2004. This rule establishes policies and procedures governing the Indian Reservation Roads Program. Indian Reservation Roads are public roads that provide access to and within Indian reservations, Indian trust land, restricted Indian land, and Alaska native villages.
