Description: | Arturo Alvarez-Buylla is well known for his work on neuron production in the olfactory bulb of the adult brain. He first worked with Fernado Nottebohm and then with his own group at Rockefeller University. His careful analysis of the precursor cells that generate these neurons is the basis for our growing knowledge of this regenerative process.
