Eric W. Strom
Hydrologist

Picture of Eric

Eric W. Strom began working as a hydrologist with the U.S. Geological Survey, Water Resources Division in May 1993. He is currently working on ground-water modeling and source water assessment projects in Austin, Texas. Eric has previously worked on ground-water models for the Cretaceous and Paleozoic aquifers in northeastern Mississippi, and for the Mississippi River alluvial aquifer in the Delta region of northwestern Mississippi. Eric has also worked for the U.S. Geological Survey, Geologic Division, at Woods Hole, Massachusetts, making ocean floor maps. Eric received his Master of Science degree in geology from Texas A&M University and his Bachelors degree in geology from Rice University. Eric is currently the Director of the USGS South Carolina Science Center.
