Journal Entry   Back Pioneer Valley (Massachusetts) Wetlandfest Promoted 10 Region, May 12, 2001 Print Friendly Version On Saturday (May 12), the Service participated in the Amherst Town Carnival Parade. Laury Zicari and Ralph Tiner helped prepare a mini-float for the parade and dressed as costumed characters (Laury as the Water Lily and Ralph, the Frog), walking down the main street, waving to parade watchers. The float advertised this weekend's Pioneer Valley Wetlandfest. The Tiner family also participated as Avery and Dillon wore salamander costumes along with friend, Gabby Nagy, while Barbara pulled the float (by car, not by hand).
