The Hazardous Substances Data Bank (HSDB) contains over 5,000 records of information on potentially hazardous chemicals including information on human exposure, industrial hygiene, emergency handling procedures, environmental fate, regulatory requirements, and related areas. HSDB is peer-reviewed by a Scientific Review Panel (SRP), a committee of experts in the major subject areas within the data bank's scope. The symposium is part of the commemoration of the 75th meeting of the SRP. The symposium will include presentations on the history, current use, and an analysis of HSDB data. The symposium will also include a discussion panel of experts from government and non-government organizations to explore future opportunities for HSDB data enhancement.
Sign Language Interpreters will be provided. Individuals with disabilities who need reasonable accommodation to participate in this program should contact Gale Lucase at 301-496-3573 or [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> or the Federal Relay at 1-800-877-8339.
