One-count information was filed in US District Court in Chicago, Illinois, charging Victor A. Bergwall, general sales manager for the Eastern Region of Van Leer Containers, Inc., a steel drum manufacturer in Chicago, Illinois, with fixing the prices, in violation of Section 1 of the Sherman Act, of new steel drums offered for sale to customers in the Eastern Region (Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, eastern New York, eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware, Virginia and the District of Columbia).

US v. William M. Cavataio
Criminal No.: 92-90006 (E.D. Mich.)

One-count information was filed in US District Court in Detroit, Michigan, charging William M. Cavataio, Dry Cleaning Sales Manager of the Troy Division of Grow Group, Inc. in Troy, Michigan, with perjury, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1621, while testifying under oath as a witness before a federal grand jury investigating whether any person or company engaged in the sale of dry cleaning supplies in Michigan had committed any violations of the Sherman Act or other federal criminal laws in the Eastern District of Michigan and elsewhere.
