DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Camel Manufacturing Co.**, Pioneer, Tenn., is being awarded an $11,269,240 firm-fixed-price indefinite-quantity contract for green modular command posts and green modular command posts without mapboards, light sets and tables. Eighty-three proposals were solicited and three were received. Work is expected to be completed by Aug. 9, 2000. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0100-99-D-6010).

ARMY

Bell Helicopter Textron Inc., Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded a $21,701,474 modification to firm-fixed-price contract DAAH23-98-C-0109, for definitization of the letter contract for Taiwan Lot 2, the production of 13 Kiowa Warrior Aircraft (OH-58D), support equipment and related services for the country of Taiwan. Work will be performed in Fort Worth, Texas, and is expected to be completed by July 31, 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on June 24, 1998. The U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity.

NAVY

General Dynamics Corp., Electric Boat, Groton, Conn., is being awarded a $9,804,354 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, cost-plus-fixed-fee completion contract for naval architecture, marine engineering, systems and subsystem definition, submarine designs and arrangements, submarine construction expertise, manufacture of specialized hardware items, technology impact assessment, cost assessments and other technical support services. Work will be performed in Groton, Conn., and is expected to be completed by August 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, West Bethesda, Md., is the contracting activity (N00167-99-D-0073).
