Ralph H. Metcalfe Federal Building77 W. Jackson Boulevard The Ralph H. Metcalfe Federal Building, winner of a 2007 Energy Star Award for energy efficiency and the 2008 BOMA TOBY Award, is located in downtown Chicago on the southeast corner of Clark and Jackson. The 28-story building features a state of the art conference facility and a food court. Built in 1991, the building is constructed of steel framing in the style of Mies van der Rohe. Major tenants include HUD and EPA. Based on the most recent (2008) GSA/Gallup Customer Satisfaction Survey, 86% of the tenants are "very satisfied" with building space and services (score of four or above on a five-point scale).
