IT Industry Government Council (ITIGC)

The IT Industry Government Council (ITIGC) was established in July of 2003 as an advisory group for the Center for IT Schedule Programs. The council is comprised of representatives from GSA, the IT industry, and customer agencies. The members were objectively selected by GSA to represent and address all business concerns.

The council meets quarterly and makes recommendations to GSA yearly. GSA then has the opportunity to follow through with or dismiss recommendations proposed. The council serves strictly in an advisory capacity. The council does not create policy or new programs.

Other stakeholders can participate in the council on the subcommittee level. Currently, the council has five subcommittees:

  • Teaming and Subcontracting
  • E-Tools
  • Policy Issues
  • Training and Communications
  • New Technology

If interested in participating on the subcommittee level, please contact Stephanie Turner, (703) 605-2765. All meetings are open to the public. Meeting attendees not on the council must attend in a gallery capacity.

The last ITIGC meeting was held on Friday, March 6, 2009.  The date for the next meeting is not available at this time.
