PAIGE NAMES DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS
U.S. Secretary of Education Rod Paige announced today that Lindsey Kozberg will serve as director of the Office of Public Affairs at the Education Department. Kozberg, a native of California, was most recently California press secretary for the Bush-Cheney 2000 campaign. Previously, she was an associate with the law firm of Latham & Watkins in Los Angeles. She has also served in various government and public relations positions, including special assistant for external affairs for the California Department of Corporations. She is a graduate of the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University and of Stanford Law School.
