What are the Farm's Hours?
Claude Moore Farm is open from April until Mid-December. The hours of operation are Wednesday through Sunday, from 10:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. The Gate House shop is open from 10:00 a.m. until 5 p.m.


Where can I find more information about tours?
Claude Moore Farm is operated by the Friends of Claude Moore. Visits to the Farm are self-guided, and visitors are invited to watch and particpate in Farm activites.  Group visits and educational programs are available.  For more information, visit the Friends of Claude Moore website.


How do I get to the Farm?

Can I bring my pet with me?

Deputy Sheriff Clyde L. Hauver was the first Frederick County, Maryland, Deputy to be killed in the line of duty. He was leading a raid on the Blue Blazes Whiskey Still on July 31, 1929 when he was shot and killed.
