Washington -- With mounting evidence that telework benefits government operations, employees, and the environment, the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) and the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) have launched an Internet telework information clearinghouse for federal employees: http://www.telework.gov .
GSA Administrator Stephen A. Perry is enthusiastic about the new, easy-to-use website, which provides telework news, policies, guidance and other information.

"GSA fully supports the Administration's effort to promote telework," Mr. Perry said. "We hope that all federal workers will visit the new www.telework.gov website and take advantage of this great tool to see how telework can work for them."
The website provides links to telework sites at OPM and GSA, along with links to telework information from other agencies and the private sector. The site also includes self-help guides for teleworkers and their managers and a link to telework centers, available to the private sector as well as government employees.
