DISABILITIES
Washington ---The U. S. Department of Labor's Office of
Disability Employment Policy (ODEP) is sponsoring an Employment Fair for People
with Disabilities on Wednesday, May 2, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the
Washington Convention Center, 900 9th Street, NW.
The job fair will give job candidates with disabilities an
opportunity to meet with representatives of more than 60 corporations and
government agencies. Employers are seeking candidates with skills in
accounting, administration, clerical support, engineering, information
technology, finance and science.
"This is an opportunity for job seekers with disabilities in the
Washington metro area to market their skills to local employers, including
representatives of federal agencies," said Gary B. Reed, Acting Deputy
Assistant Secretary of ODEP. "We encourage all qualified candidates to utilize
