Timothy Horne, Acting Regional Administrator

Timothy Horne was named as the Acting Regional Administrator for GSA's Rocky Mountain Region on January 21, 2009. As the Acting Regional Administrator, Mr. Horne oversees real estate services, property, and information technology within the states of Colorado, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah, and Wyoming. The Rocky Mountain Region has an inventory of almost 615 government-owned and leased buildings that house nearly 50,000 employees.

Before assuming leadership of the region, Mr. Horne served as the Program Manager for the Presidential Transition Team, and provided oversight for the delivery of supplies, technology and office space to the President-elect’s transition team. In 2007, Mr. Horne served as Acting Assistant Regional Administrator for the Federal Acquisition Service. Mr. Horne has held several other positions, including Director for the Public Building Services (PBS) Office of Customer Service, Business Center Manager for the Colorado Service Center, and Project Manager for the implementation of the regional PBS Human Capital Strategy.

Mr. Horne joined GSA’s Rocky Mountain Region in 1993 as a property management intern before becoming the Property Manager in Fort Collins and Boulder, Colorado.

Mr. Horne earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and communications from Regis University. He is also a graduate of GSA’s Advanced Leadership Development Program.
