Denver Federal Center Solar Park

Colorado is front and center when it comes to renewable energy opportunities. The Denver Federal Center’s (DFC) one megawatt solar park allows GSA to demonstrate its leadership in the new energy economy of reducing the environmental impact of federal operations.  Climate change is a key interest among many individuals and businesses and there is an increased focus on how government can be an instrument of change in helping reduce energy consumption and negative environmental impacts.

Being an early adopter of such a project allows GSA to share lessons learned spanning from procurement tools to design details all while helping educate visitors.
