Welcome to SCIGN

The Southern California Integrated GPS Network (SCIGN) has accomplished its goal of completing a state-of-the-art array of 250 continuously-operating GPS stations. Therefore the SCIGN collaboration ( US Geological Survey, Scripps Institution of Oceanography, Jet Propulsion Laboratory ) under the Southern California Earthquake Center has been disbanded.

SCIGN stations are now operated by the following agencies:

The NSF portion of the SCIGN array continues to be operated and maintained by the USGS Pasadena Field Office through an NSF sub-award to SCEC. The scign.org site will continue to be maintained during this three year transitional phase.
