Jean M. Boler drafted the initial complaint in Jensen v. Eveleth Taconite Co., the first sexual harassment case certified as a class action. Working as an associate at Sprenger & Lang, a Minneapolis and Washington DC employment discrimination firm that specializes in class actions, Ms. Boler spent 4,500 hours representing the Jensen plaintiffs over a ten-year period. A graduate of the University of Minnesota Law School, Ms. Boler clerked for Judge Gerald Heaney of the US Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit before joining Sprenger and Lang. She currently is the Director of the Employment Section, Civil Division, City Attorney's Office, Seattle, WA.
