The FHWA Pavement Preservation Expert Task Group established a team at their February 2002 meeting to promote and monitor the research projects recommended in the report. Goals
StatusThe Pavement Preservation Research Problem Statements report was posted on the Foundation for Pavement Preservation web site. A research statement tracking system design was proposed and is currently under development. When completed, the tracking system will be hosted by the Foundation for Pavement Preservation web site, www.fp2.org. Other research tracking sources will be also be utilized. An informational letter on the Pavement Preservation Research Problem Statements report was submitted to TRB for distribution. Another informational letter about the report with a survey was sent to the AASHTO RAC members. The survey results will be the initial source of information about adoption of the research problem states. Follow-up will be conducted with TRB and AASHTO researchers. Contacts
