Photo Gallery: Mudeirej Bridge Reconstruction in Lebanon
October-December 2008
USAID is reconstructing the Mudeirej Bridge, one of the bridges destroyed during the conflict last summer. At over 225 feet high and almost 1,600 feet long, the two-span Mudeirej Bridge is the largest bridge in Lebanon and one of tallest in the Middle East region. Read the press release here.

The Mudeirej Bridge Project includes repair of one section of the westbound bridge and replacement of the entire eastbound bridge.
