NOAA Weather Radio (NWR) All Hazards
...the voice of the National Weather Service
The Lubbock National Weather Service currently has five weather radios it operates out of the following locations: Lubbock; Plainview; Summerfield; Childress; and Dickens. Information regarding the NWR in general and the local NWRs can be found below.
Below are the five transmitters located in the Lubbock County Warning Area:

| Summerfield transmitter WNG657, broadcasting on a frequency of 162.500 MHz |
