NCATE Approved NAAEE's EE Standards

In October 2007, NAAEE's environmental education standards were approved by the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE), which accredits more than half of the 1,200 or so colleges of teacher education in the U.S. Read more about it here >> and link to the EE standards here>>
Preservice Adv Council June 2008Become a Reviewer for the NCATE/NAAEE EE Standards
Now that NAAEE has EE standards for college education programs, the colleges will need to explain how they meet them during their NCATE review. NAAEE will need a cadre of volunteers well trained in the standards to help with these reviews, which help determine whether a college’s education program is accredited. Download the application here and submit it with the required attachments to NAAEE.
