The Request for Applications (RFA) entitled “INNOVATIVE GRANTS ON IMMUNE 
TOLERANCE” (AI-00-006), issued by the National Institute of Allergy and 
Infectious Diseases (NIAID) and the National Institute of Diabetes, 
Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) in the NIH Guide on February 9, 
2000, has been amended to include the National Heart, Lung, and Blood 
Institute (NHLBI) as a co--sponsor.  NHLBI will provide $0.5 million in 
FY2001, to fund approximately 2 applications relevant to its mission.  
Studies related to allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation 
are of particular interest to NHLBI.
