Robin G. Graf - Acting Regional Administrator, Northwest/Arctic Region

Robin G. Graf was appointed Acting Regional Administrator for the GSA’s Northwest/Arctic Region on January 20, 2009.

In his new position, Graf will oversee operations in Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington.  The Northwest/Arctic Region has a federal inventory of 647 owned and leased buildings, and manages a total budget of more than $462.3 million annually.
 
Before his appointment, Graf was deputy regional administrator for the Regional Public Building Service. In that position, he led his region to be consistently recognized as a leader in innovation, contribution to national initiatives, and most importantly, the highest levels of program performance.

Graf has been the recipient of numerous professional awards, including GSA's highest individual award, the Distinguished Service Award (1995) and the President's SES Meritorious Rank Award (2004).

Graf began his career in 1973 and an architectural technician and later worked in systems and program analysis. He has held senior PBS leadership positions as deputy associate administrator for Congressional and Intergovernmental Affairs, assistant commissioner for planning (portfolio management), PBS chief financial officer, and assistant regional administrator.

Graf is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame's School of Architecture and has completed graduate studies at the George Washington University and Duke University.
