New and Revised Mandatory References: |
The Mandatory Reference, Guidance on the Definition and Use of the Child Survival and Health Programs Fund(formerly titled Guidance on the Definition and Use of the Child Survival and Disease Program Funds) was revised. The revision includes New references to statutory authorities, appropriations, and notwithstanding language; Revisions to the Agency's HIV/AIDS Expanded Response strategy; Necessary substantive revisions reflecting the structural change of the CSH Programs Fund; and The addition of a new section, IV.E., on Family Planning and Reproductive Health programming guidance (also included in its entirety in Appendix IV). A new Mandatory Reference was added to the chapter: Guidance on the Definition and Use of the Family Planning and Reproductive Health (FP/RH) Funds. This new guidance is related to the programming of FP/RH funds, which are now located within the Child Survival and Health Programs Fund. This document provides detailed programming guidance on how to appropriately program these important funds within the explicit and implicit parameters as set forth by the Appropriators. Illustrative examples are included. |
