Gun Safes

UNICOR Federal Prison Industries manufacturers a wide array of Gun Safes which are highly secure and safe. The top, sides and bottom of the Gun Safes have the highest level of dependable construction and are securely welded and manufactured from 1/16" thick sheet steel.

Gun Safe finishes include a high quality level primer coated for elemental protection. The finishes are environmentally compliant and include a black textured powder coating which is applied as part of the final finish. The coating cures to a wrinkled look and feel which will conceal any minor scuff marks and fingerprints.

The interior portion of the Gun Safes have a very high level of protection. A spray-on rubberized coating is applied to both sides and dividers of the interior portion of the Gun Safes. To ensure additional protection, a ¾" dense foam is installed to the bottom of all Gun Safe models. An added gasket material lines the top edge of all dividers to restrict moisture access.

All Gun Safes are manufactured at the Federal Prison Industries Bastrop, TX facility. Bastrop has a full-service quality assurance department and is ISO 9001:2000 certified. Specific Gun Safe Interior Features

UNICOR fleet industries provides a 10 year warranty on Gun Safe models manufactured at Bastrop and a 5 year warranty on all Gun Safe components(i.e. locks, gas, springs etc.).

Console gun safes vary in price, based upon vehicle type, space availability and design work required to manufacture the specific model. The following 2005 models are provided and may be totalized for cost projection purposes.
