Micro-Credit Loan Program Featured on BBC World

Three clients of the Servicing Micro-Entrepreneurs in Albania program, implemented by Opportunity International and its established Albanian Institution, PSHM, were interviewed and told their story of how they moved from rags to riches.

Drita Alia moved her second-hand clothing business from the streets to a profitable store. Artan Latifi started a car-wash and serves clients in his new café, and Sanije Braholli, once an employee of a large ice-cream factory, has her own ice-cream store.

Servicing Micro-Entrepreneurs in Albania is implemented by Opportunity International and its established Albanian Institution, Albanian Partners in Micro-Credit (PSHM). It helps Albanians to access financial, technical and management services needed for enterprise start-up and expanision, and provides credit to those whom are unable to borrow from the traditional banking system.
