Breast cancer is the most frequently occurring cancer in American women. If detected early, it often can be successfully treated. This article reviews what the risk factors for breast cancer are, how can one check for breast cancer, and what are some possible signs of breast cancer. The article also discusses when and how to do a breast self-exam.
