Objective:
Characterize the hydrologic and erosion impacts of different levels of juniper encroachment and juniper control methods of fire and mechanical cutting.

Approach:
Simulated rainfall and concentrated overland flow methods will be implemented along a gradient of increasing juniper canopy dominance both before and after prescribed fire and mechanical cutting treatments. Documents Reimbursable with USGS. Log 28426. Formerly 5362-13610-007-05R (6/08).
