Registration for the 2009 VOSH Conference has begun. The conference will be held in Roanoke this year during the first week of June at the Hotel Roanoke and Conference Center. (See Introductory Video) Each year the Virginia Department of Labor and Industry sponsors the Virginia Occupational Safety and Health Conference (VOSH) to help educate employers and employees in developing safe and healthy work environments and to provide affordable safety and health training opportunities to employers, employees and safety and health professionals.

This year's conference will feature keynote speaker the honorable Gary L. Visscher, from the U.S. Chemical Safety Board, speaking on "Heading Towards the Future in Workplace Safety". The OSHA 10-Hour Safety Course for General Industry will be taught again this year and there will be new general sessions covering topics such as Combustible Dust and Safety Practices for Tree Trimming Professionals.
