Welcome to the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Museum Virtual Tour. You may begin the tour by clicking on the museum map. Explore the Carter Oval Office, learn about Jimmy Carter's childhood and race for President, and study some of the issues that American Presidents have confronted.

In addition to the permanent exhibitions, temporary exhibits are drawn from both the library and museum collection as-well-as selected traveling exhibits. These exhibits, i.e., "Portraits of the Presidents from the National Portrait Gallery" and "American Originals: Treasures from the National Archives", are based on themes relating to the presidency and American political history. For more information about current and upcoming exhibitions, see Exhibits & Events.

After viewing the virtual tour, you may want to browse the Museum Store or check the schedule of changing Exhibits & Events offered by the museum.
