The High Bridge Trailhead provides restrooms and day-use parking for both autos and horse trailers.
Getting there: The High Bridge Trailhead is located on the west side of State Highway 16, 4.5 miles south of Highway 20.
Things to know before you go:
- Access to the High Bridge Trail requires fording Bear Creek. During the rainy season, water levels can be high for up to one week after a large storm.
- All vehicles must stay on gravelled or paved surfaces.
- Between January and June of each year, there may be cattle in the area. Drive with caution.
