Indian Health Service: The Federal Health Program for American Indians and Alaska Natives

Division of Sanitation Facilities Construction

The Division of Sanitation Facilities Construction (DSFC) designs, and supervises the construction of water, wastewater, and solid waste facilities. Engineers also inspect water, wastewater, and solid waste facilities with Division of Environmental Health Services staff in an effort to provide clean, safe water for Native Americans. Ensuring wastewater and solid waste facilities don’t contaminate groundwater reservoirs or the environment in which we live continues to be a priority.
