The International Foundation for Functional Gastrointestinal Disorders (IFFGD) is a nonprofit education and research organization that addresses the issues surrounding adult and pediatric gastrointestinal diseases. Diseases addressed include irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), fecal incontinence, Hirschsprung's disease, chronic intestinal pseudo-obstruction, as well as several others. IFFGD is dedicated to finding a cause and a cure for these disorders. IFFGD offers support and educational services to affected people, their families, healthcare professionals, and the general public.
IFFGD publishes a quarterly journal, Digestive Health Matters, which focuses on functional gastrointestinal (GI) and motility disorders in adults and children. In addition to the journal, the organization offers numerous fact sheets and brochures addressing functional gastrointestinal and motility disorders.
