zinc sulfate
A salt of the essential trace metal zinc. Zinc is involved in tissue repair and is an important constituent of some proteins, including those involved in taste and smell. Zinc sulfate supplementation may prevent radiation-induced aguesia. Check for active clinical trials or closed clinical trials using this agent. (NCI Thesaurus)
