External Financial Services

GSA provides a full range of accounting and financial services, which include standard general ledger reconciliation, payment processing, systems analysis, and regulatory, and managerial reporting. These are some of the tasks GSA provides to clients:

  • Accounts Payable
  • Accounts Receivable
  • Travel Payments
  • Travel Relocation Audits and Payments
  • Collection of Debts
  • Delinquencies and Surcharge Fees
  • Billing by Automated or Manual Processes
  • Preparation of Daily Cash Deposits

GSA monitors client funds and prepares both internal and ad hoc accounting reports, as requested by clients. Some of the external reports prepared include the following:

  • FACTS I and FACTS II reporting
  • Report on Budget Execution
  • Yearend Closing Reports
  • Report on Receivables Due from the Public
  • Various reports required by the Office of Management and Budget
  • Reports for Congress
