polyethylene glycol 3350-based laxative
A polyethylene glycol-based solution containing polyethylene glycol (PEG) 3350 (macrogol 3350) and electrolytes with laxative activity. As an orally administered nonabsorbable osmotic agent, PEG 3350 increases fecal water content and decreases gastrointestinal transit time.
