Recycling Personal Property Disposal
The federal disposal process, as currently structured, does not really address recycling of personal property. At this time, recycling is considered as an abandonment/destruction action. If GSA is unable to dispose of property through the regular utilization, donation, and sales programs, control of the property for ultimate disposal reverts to the owning federal agency. This may include a recycling option for ultimate disposal through abandonment and destruction procedures.
