Internet Services

GSA's technology procurement experts provide a wide range of web services that help agencies keep online citizens informed. The goal: Provide mission-critical Internet services to agencies by providing high-quality, state-of-the-art products and services and by complying with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). These web services include all dot gov domain registrations, as well as hosting and navigation solutions for management of public websites, such as pueblo.gsa.gov. GSA also is responsible for training federal web managers at all levels.

Agencies depend on GSA to provide the most advanced support in offerings such as:

These vehicles are broken out into three different categories, which are Governmentwide Acquisition Contracts (GWACs)Technology Contracts, and IT Schedule 70, and are listed below.

GWACs are task order or delivery order contracts for Information Technology (IT) Solutions established by one agency for governmentwide use. Each GWAC is operated by an executive agent designated by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB). To use GWACs, agencies must obtain a delegation of authority from the GWAC Program Office.
