Research Areas:
Determine the impacts of land use on the kinetics of P transport in streams and ditches. Evaluate how voluntary implementation of best management practices for agriculture impacts nutrient loading to surface water. Assess the impacts of agricultural management on greenhouse gas emissions from soils and manure. Determine how freeze/thaw cycles affect soil erodibility.  Evaluate the effects of land-use change and urbanization on surface water quality.
