  • Advises and guides policy users about existing policy, purpose, legislative intent, direction, and status of new legislative initiatives related to real estate
  • Manages the Policy Change Management Model (PCMM), which is a web based knowledge management tool that aims to help federal agencies determine their compliance with real property regulations/policies, as well as to serve as a resource for best practices in federal real property asset management

Communications

  • Provides customer service through communications programs
  • Conducts customer forums to share experiences and ideas
  • Guides the development of publications to ensure high standards, effectiveness, and quality
  • Plans, coordinates, convenes, and documents meetings of the Federal Real Property Advisory Group, which consists of senior officials from all customer departments and agencies

Legislation

  • Develops real property related-legislation and reviews and analyzes legislation proposed by other federal departments
  • Prepares testimony and responds to Congressional inquiries for legislative hearings
