Fact Sheets

The fact sheets below were developed by the IHS Division of Diabetes (DDTP) to help inform Tribal Leaders, Tribal community members, and others about diabetes, the Special Diabetes Program for Indians (SDPI), and IHS Division of Diabetes activities. These brief documents, updated in June 2008, are intended to provide an overview of each issue in an easy to read and understand format.

These documents can be used by American Indian and Alaska Native diabetes programs to help inform local leaders and community members about diabetes-related issues. Please print and share these documents with Tribal Leaders and other members of your community.
