National Nutrition and Dietetics Training Program

CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS

The IHS Nutrition & Dietetics Training Program (IHS N&DTP) is now an accredited Provider with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR). Registered dietitians and dietetic technicians, registered (DTRs) will receive continuing professional education units (CPEUs) for completion of professional workshops offered by the IHS N&DTP. As a CDR Accredited Provider, diabetes related training approved by NDTP may be used to satisfy the requirements for continuing education for the National Certification Board for the Diabetes Educators (BCBDE) for renewal of certification as a Certified Diabetes Educator.

Dietary Managers may request professional education units by the Certifying Board for Dietary Managers, for any of our hands-on cooking workshops.
