Do you aspire to be a future IHS Chief Executive Officer?

Do you encumber at least a GS-9 level position?

If you do, then Level Two CEO Boot Camp may be for you...

The Indian Health Service Level Two Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Boot Camp is a 5-day intensive training program that focuses on identifying potential leaders (CEO's) and developing the candidate for future leadership within the Agency. Level Two CEO Boot Camp is the first phase of developing future leaders for succession planning.

The overall goal of Level Two CEO Boot Camp is to improve the candidate’s performance in their current roles and to prepare the candidate to advance in the career field by improving readiness for higher-level leadership roles. This program allows candidates to participate in a variety of developmental opportunities, including mentoring and continuous assessment activities, targeted at aligning personal and organizational growth.

Upon completion of the program, all successful participants will receive a training certificate and will be assigned a mentor. The mentor will provide guidance and counsel to the candidate helping them to master their core competencies.

Selection as a candidate to the program does not imply a guarantee of advancement to a higher position in the future.
